10 common signs you are dealing with a scammmer
not using an online system to APPLY, such as RentCafe
Requests money via Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle
They don’t have a Brick & Vine email address
They ask you to hide the keys outside of the lockbox
You don't receive a receipt from the background check company
You don't see an inquiry on your credit record
The rent is too good to be true
You don't receive a receipt for payment
They ask you to take photos of the home
You find the home listing on Craigslist or fb marketplace
